Y Academy Internship 2026 is a 12-month media internship programme offered by Y, South Africa's largest youth commercial radio and media platform. The programme is designed to develop aspiring media professionals by providing practical exposure to the broadcast radio and media industry. Interns will rotate through multiple departments, including Programming, Sales, Marketing, Digital Content, Technical, and Music, gaining valuable hands-on experience and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist across various media and radio departments
• Participate in practical projects and assignments
• Support content creation and marketing activities
• Contribute to digital media initiatives
• Learn broadcasting and media production processes
• Engage in training and development activities
• Collaborate with teams across the organization

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher
• Must not currently be participating in any SETA-funded internship programme
